What to Bring for Your Dog’s Stay
For Boardings and Daycare
To help your dog feel comfortable, relaxed, and at home during their stay with Raven’s K9 to 5, please pack the following items:
1. Food & Feeding Instructions
Please provide enough food for the entire stay. We recommend pre-portioning meals in labeled bags (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) to help maintain your dog’s normal routine.
Sudden food changes can cause digestive upset, especially in a new environment. Keeping meals consistent helps reduce stress and keeps your pup feeling their best.
Be sure to list any food restrictions or special instructions in your Time To Pet profile.
2. Medications & Supplements
If your dog takes any medications or supplements, please include:
✔️ The full supply for their stay
✔️ Clear written instructions
✔️ Dosage and schedule details
If medication must be given with food, you may include it in pre-portioned meal bags.
If your dog has emergency or “as-needed” medications, please pack those as well.
3. Favorite Toys, Bed & Comfort Items
Bringing familiar items helps reduce anxiety and encourages relaxation.
We recommend packing:
✔️ 1–2 favorite toys
✔️ Your dog’s bed or blanket
✔️ A crate (if crate-trained)
✔️ Long-lasting chews
These items help maintain normal routines and provide comfort in a new environment.
4. A Scent from Home
A blanket, t-shirt, or pillowcase with your scent can be incredibly soothing for your dog.
Familiar smells help ease homesickness and provide emotional comfort during their stay.
5. At Least One Leash
All dogs must arrive and depart on a leash.
Although we have a fully fenced yard, leashes are required for safe drop-off and pick-up.
6. Required Documents & Vaccination Records
All required forms and records must be uploaded to your Time To Pet portal before drop-off.
This includes:
✔️ Medical records
✔️ Vaccination history
✔️ Signed agreements
✔️ Profile information
Required vaccines include:
• Bordetella (Respiratory)
• Distemper
• Hepatitis/Adenovirus
• Parvo
• Rabies
• Current Flea Prevention
7. Special Items & Personal Preferences
Every dog is unique. If your pet has special bowls, favorite treats, or comfort items, feel free to pack them.
Anything that helps your dog feel happy, confident, and secure is welcome.
❤️ Our Goal
Our goal is to make your dog’s stay feel as close to home as possible. When routines, comfort items, and care instructions are consistent, pets settle in faster and enjoy their experience more.
If you ever have questions about what to pack, we’re happy to help.
