Your pet’s safety always comes first. Weather and pavement temperature play a huge role in whether walks are safe, comfortable, or potentially dangerous. Because of this, we carefully monitor conditions before and during every walk.

☀️ Hot Weather Guidelines
• 60°–75°F: Safe for walks
• 76°–85°F: Use caution, bring water, shorten walks
• 86°–95°F: Limit walks, risk of overheating
• 96°F+: Extreme danger — walks may be canceled

🔥 Important Reminder:
If pavement is too hot to hold your hand on for 5 seconds, it’s too hot for paws.

❄️ Cold Weather Guidelines
• 45°–60°F: Safe
• 32°–44°F: Use caution, monitor paws
• Below 20°F: Limit outdoor time
• Extreme cold: Frostbite risk — walks may be canceled

🧊 Cold Weather Tips:
Booties or paw balm may be recommended in extreme cold. We also watch closely for signs of hypothermia or discomfort.

If temperatures or pavement conditions are unsafe, walks may be shortened, modified, or replaced with indoor enrichment, potty breaks, and playtime.

All waste is double-bagged and disposed of in the client’s trash bin.
